A cilent has come up with a new form requirement which could be handled by a standard form but it needs changing in subtle ways periodically - sometimes at short notice.
He has a factory with multiple production lines comprising multiple individual pieces of equipment, each of which have parts or features that must be checked or verified at set intervals. These checks must be recorded as must any rectification actions taken if any test fails. In order to carry out the checks efficiently it is important that the sequence in which they are carried out ( and hence listed on the form) follows the physical layout of the production line.
So if machine changes position on the line or is replaced then the form sequence must be easily changeable to reflect the change. Also the ability to search the data and assemble audit reports must be maintained despite changes in production line composition. This scenario is common in any business involved in the food chain.
A new form style to cope with recording machine (and its sub parts) and the production line sequence structure and the actual checks carried out will soon be available to run within EcoForms. This means you will still get full recorded history of who did what and when, and who carried out what rectification work, coupled with the ability to change machines and line structure quickly and easily.
Faults logged can have their current status linked to a management dashboard so that they can be monitored in real time.
